TUESDAY, Dec. 30, 2025 (HealthDay News) — Wildfires may be sending far more harmful pollution into the air than scientists once believed, according to new research.

Flu season is off to a rough start this year, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. While the virus arrived as expected, cases are rising faster, compared with previous years.

The number of confirmed measles cases reported in an outbreak in West Texas is now at 124, the Texas Department of Health Services said in an update Tuesday, an increase of 34 since late last week.
